Buckeye HOG Chapter #2951

Why Should You Join Buckeye HOG?

As we move into February, our events are starting to pick up.  Our February video shows the events from Feb 1st through April 30th.  Highlights include dinner rides (Jimmie's Ladder 11, Wings Sports Bar and Grill, and Rip Rap Roadhouse), dealership events and our Old Coots rides.  The weather should be getting better and give us the opportunity to bring out our bikes and ride!

The highlights of our Bridges of Preble County ride on Apr 23rd.  We went the seven intact bridges throughout Preble County and had lunch at Wings Etc. in Eaton, a Challenge Book sponsor.  Food was good, the participants great, and the weather left a lot to be desired.  Still, it was a good way to get out and see parts of Preble County.

The Chapter took a long, meandering ride from Buckeye Harley-Davidson down south to Maysville KY and the back roads there before heading back to Ohio via the Augusta Ferry.  Round trip was over 260 miles.  We had to break into two groups of riders as there were 26 bikes and 39 riders on this trp.  The video shows some of the many highlights of the ride.   Our next trip is a riding tour of the Ozarks.  Are you interested in joining in on this next epic adventure? Become a member of the Buckeye Chapter of the Harley Owners Group!  Details on how to join are available on this site!

Our Plain Folk Cafe ride, leaving from Dayton and riding to Pleasant Plain Ohio and then onto Cowan Lake State Park in southwestern Ohio

The Amish Country Tour - a ride our Chapter took to Holmes and Tuscarawas Counties in eastern Ohio.

From Aug 7-12 2022, the Buckeye Chapter took an approximately 1,400 mile motorcycle ride from Dayton to some historic places in the East.  We dubbed the trip the Magical History Tour. This is a snapshot of our ride to the Antietam Battlefield on Aug 8th.  Other locations we visited included Harpers Ferry, Gettysburg Battlefield, Mount Vernon, and the Flight 93 Memorial.

The fourth segment of our Chapter's Magical History Tour.  All told, we rode around 1400 miles hitting the historic battlefields and parks.  None of us were prepared for how emotional the Flight 93 Memorial was.  It was difficult to put into perspective that this occurred only 21 years ago.  The memories of where we were and what we were doing are still vivid today.
